Saifullah Balarabe Gaya (popularly known as Seif Gaya) is a worthy son of Kano State and a product of a humble background. He was born in the ancient city of Kano.
He started as a child of destiny upon whom the finger of fate entirely began to beckon early life when his parents noticed a trait of infant prodigy in his childhood days in the then famous Federal Government College, staff School Kano to the admiration of his peers and his teachers. On completion of his primary education in 2001, he proceeded to Zaria Academy, Kaduna State for his secondary education where he graduated with excellent grades. The hope of completing his education in Kaduna state was not to be, as fate had already prepared another sojourn in Kano. Thus, Sequel to the completion of his secondary education Young Seifullah saw himself continuing his High School Diploma in Software Management System, Diploma in Accounting and Auditing, International Computer Software Engineering (HDSE) and HND in Banking and Finance. Thereafter, he proceeded to study Business Administration at the Africa Graduate University in Uganda, Kampala.
Among the many career attractions for him, technology appeared the most recurring. While running his programs simultaneously before the completion of his University Education, he joined the Emergency Communication Commission Kano State, from where he proceeded to join Kgtel Mobile, West Africa (Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina Faso) as the General Manager.
Seif Gaya is recognized as an ever diligent, cool-headed, calm leader, a role – model, highly principled, innovative and an achiever. As a multi-linguist, Seif Gaya speaks English, Hausa, French and a bit of Chinese.
His towering achievements include:
– Managing Director Xiaomi Nigeria, where he grew the market share of Xiaomi from 0.6% to 7% within 7 months in Nigeria based on International Data Corporation (IDC); General Manager Kgtel Mobile, with record of improving Kgtel mobile deliveries worth more than $5M per year through efficient coordination and increasing monthly staff retention rate.
As Emergency Dispatcher with Emergency Communication Commission, Seif Gaya was able to eliminate risks and emergency response delays by efficiently monitoring public safety while also optimizing productivity to ensure on-time emergency response and life support. Giving the delicate nature of emergencies, he single-handedly was able to route over 1000 calls daily to the Police Force, Fire and Ambulance Service respectively to meet individuals’ emergency needs.
