A seasoned Business Administrator, Engr. (Dr.) Isaac Gbadebo Adeleye, JP was born at Sagamu, Ogun State on January 25th, 1945. He had his elementary education at Local Authority Primary School Sagamu, between 1960 and 1965.
With over three decades experience in Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Allied Businesses, Engr. (Dr.) Isaac Gbadebo Adeleye rose from a humble and modest background as a trained mechanical industrial injector pump engineer before he joined the services of Niger Motors Limited where he acquired tremendous experience in plant maintenance and management.
While serving the expatriate company, he attended Lucas Harthride Training Centre, Bukhinham, United State, where he was trained as an industrial engineer with specialization in plant fuel injector. After a successful stint with the international company, Engr. (Dr.) Adeleye founded Niger Diesel Engineering Company Limited in 1979 as Chairman/Chief Executive Officer. This engineering impresario has brought his enormous experience acquired over the years in running the affairs of Civil/Mechanical Engineering highly passionate and well articulate; Engr. (Dr.) Adeleye is a man of many parts. He is an epitome of success. He is synonymous with perfection. An enigmatic professional, this man of the people is an engineering giant.
A philanthropist of high repute, Engr. Dr. Adeleye is a well respected Community Leader per excellence. As a matter of fact; his contribution to the development of mankind is magnificent. By dint of hard work and commitment to excellence, Engr. Dr. Adeleyeis a recipient of several local and international honours.
He is a holder and beneficiary of ECOWAS Int’l Award (2000); National Globe Merit (1999); Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC)-(2000) AJUMOSE REMO Distinguished Merit Award (2006); Honorary Membership of the Nigeria Police (2001); Patron, Immanuel College of Technology and Christian Education (2002); Distinguished Visitor Award of Miami – Dada, Florida, USA (2005); Doctor of Divinity, Ashland University USA (1995); Patron, Blacksmiths, Iron Bender and Welders’ Association, Ogun State Branch (2005); Youth Empowerment Merit Award (2004); Spirit of Detroit Award by City Council of Detroit, USA (2005); Fellowship Award of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (2000); Certificate Merit by Road Safety Club of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (1999); and Membership of Nigeria – Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2005 – till date). Recently, and in a more global form, Engr. (Dr.) Isaac Gbadebo Adeleye was conferred with Die United States Commercial Service Partner Award by the Department of Commerce, (Commercial Service) on 5th September, 2013. The great occasion was conducted by the embassy of the United States in Lagos State, Nigeria.
In rewarding his contribution to the development of his immediate constituency, Engr. Gbadebo Adeleye was inaugurated as the Executive Patron of all America, Great Britain and Ireland and the Diaspora. He is an incorporate Life Trustee of True Patriots for Development Initiative and Global Education and Public Literacy Foundation.
