These attributed informed his establishment of Green Eagles Agribusiness Solutions Limited in which he is the Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Taiwo Oluwadahunsola’s drive and enthusiasm for the agribusiness sector hs remained unwavering over the years with a vision to drive national food security and economic diversification through innovative solutions that facilitates easy and profitable entry for small scale holders.

Born in Lagos on October 19, 1978; he attended Olubukola Nursery and Primary School Lagos, Government College Epe and University of Ibadan where he graduated with a B.sc Microbiology. He was always first overall in his academic year class captain, senior prefect in final year of secondary and swept six out of ten prices for subject awards. He was president of the science club, literacy and debating club and key member of the school football team and always best student in the state in primary and secondary awarded best youth corper of the year Niger State and best graduating student in his Department. During his internship at IITA, he conducted key research that helped solve a longstanding agricultural scientific problem.

Mr. Oluwadahunsola has been an agriculturist since 2004 and was also president of National Agribusiness Network before he founded Green Eagles in 2018 that has since experienced uncommon phenomenal growth, now leading in the charge for food security in Nigeria.

He has been involved in various landmark projects in the Agribusiness industry. These include Naija Rice Project, Greenwealth and Agro innovate. In 2019/2020, he pioneered the Naija Rice Project, and successfully enlisted hundreds of farmers in different communities in Kebbi and Adamawa States. The aim is to improve the lives of farmers while massively up scaling rice production to up to 4.2 Million tons yearly.

In his words, “Our model is very sustainable. We build, operate and grant rice mills after 7 years to the communities of farmers while keeping them in our loop for sustained access to markets. Farmers lack funds for production in the dry season. We provide them with input and funds at zero cost. Secondly, is capacity building, sending extension officers to enlighten farmers to follow good agronomic practices, keeping farmers from getting low yield or low income.”

Green Eagles has commercial farms spread across the North and South of Nigeria: Kaduna and Kebbi in Northwest, Adamawa in Northeast, Plateau in North central, Ogun and Osun in Southwest; including an administrative office in the Nation’s commercial nerve centre, Lagos.

The Company has provided direct employment to more than 200 persons and ensures about 800 others have a means of livelihood nationwide. And there are plans to do much more. Green Eagles has a laser objective to facilitate production of affordable food and economic livelihood for 140 million Nigerians by the year 2025.
